Greetings:

Yesterday the sunset for one of my favorite recording artist, Prince. Now I was never hardcore Prince fan because some of his music was too far out there. I was a fan nonetheless. I have some of his albums besides “Purple Rain”.

Prince was able to combine R&B, rock, jazz, soul, and funk into great music.

Unfortunately, I never saw him live, but I know people who did see him perform live and they said he put on a fantastic show.

Prince was a talented musician who played at least three instruments (piano, guitar, and drums). He was a prolific songwriter not just for himself, but for other people. In fact, one of my favorite songs by him was “Nothing Compares 2 U” which was covered by Sinead O’Connor. He was also a producer.

Also, I always admire people who can revamp their image with a new album. He sometimes had a different back-up band too.

Prince will always live with us.
